Thyrocare Sees 34% Profit Surge in Q1 FY27 with ₹240 Cr Revenue

Thyrocare's Q1 FY27 revenue reached ₹240.02 crore, fueled by a dynamic pathology segment and strategic expansion.
Thyrocare Technologies has reported a robust financial performance for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, with consolidated revenue reaching ₹240.02 crore, marking a 24% increase compared to the same period last year. The Mumbai-based diagnostic chain attributed this growth mainly to its thriving pathology segment, alongside significant gains in its franchise and partnership sectors.
Pathology Segment Drives Growth
The company's EBITDA for the quarter rose by 34% year-on-year, totaling ₹77.27 crore, while profit after tax also saw a 34% increase, amounting to ₹51.33 crore. Thyrocare's pathology segment was a key driver, with franchise revenue growing by 27% and the partnership segment experiencing a 26% rise compared to the previous year.
During the quarter, Thyrocare processed 55.2 million tests, an increase of 28% from the prior year, solidifying its position as India's largest diagnostic test volume processor.
Expansion into Specialty Diagnostics
In addition to its core operations, Thyrocare expanded into the specialty diagnostics market, launching services in Allergy and Genomics testing. The introduction of Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) forms part of a phased expansion strategy to diversify the company's test offerings.
Rahul Guha, Managing Director and CEO of Thyrocare Technologies, highlighted the company's focus on operational efficiency and network expansion. "Thyrocare reported a strong performance this quarter, driven by continued focus on operational efficiency, network expansion, and value-driven diagnostics," Guha stated. He emphasized the company's commitment to expanding its reach in underserved regions and enhancing its franchise and partner networks.
Commitment to Affordable Healthcare
Thyrocare's strategic initiatives aim to provide high-quality, affordable healthcare services across India. The company's efforts in expanding its specialty portfolio and extending its geographical presence reflect its dedication to meeting diverse healthcare needs.
As Thyrocare continues to grow, its focus remains on maintaining affordability while delivering value-driven services, positioning itself as a leader in India's diagnostic industry.
