Park Medi World to Launch 550-Bed Hospital in Prayagraj via New Subsidiary

Park Medi World Ltd has announced the formation of a new subsidiary, Park Medicity Prayagraj Ltd, to oversee the development and management of a forthcoming 550-bed multi-super-speciality hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. This initiative is part of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) agreement with the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation, according to a regulatory filing by the company.

The newly formed entity, Park Medicity Prayagraj Ltd, has been set up with Park Medi World subscribing to 150,000 equity shares, each valued at Rs 10, totaling an investment of Rs 15 lakh. The parent company holds 100% ownership in the subsidiary, ensuring full control over the project's execution and operations.

Park Medi World, established in 2000, is recognized as the second-largest private hospital chain in North India and the largest in Haryana by bed capacity. The company currently operates 16 multi-super-speciality hospitals across various states, including Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh, under the 'Park' brand.

Expanding Healthcare Services in Uttar Pradesh

The new hospital in Prayagraj is expected to enhance healthcare access in the region significantly.
