Narayana Health Partners with NDB for Global Healthcare Innovation

Narayana Health and NDB collaborate to enhance healthcare through digital and data-driven solutions.
Narayana Health has forged a strategic knowledge-sharing alliance with the New Development Bank (NDB) to advance global healthcare, focusing on digital health and technology-enabled services. This partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), was signed by NDB President Dilma Rousseff and Dr. Devi Shetty, Founder and Chairman of Narayana Health, in Jaipur during the First BRICS Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting.
Focus on Technology and Data Systems
The collaboration aims to leverage Narayana Health's expertise in delivering efficient, patient-centric hospital services to bolster the smart hospital service capacities of NDB and its member countries. Central to this initiative are digital health innovations, data systems, and technology transfer, which are expected to foster stronger healthcare systems in emerging economies.
Dr. Devi Shetty emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, "Through this knowledge sharing collaboration, we look forward to working with NDB and its member countries to support stronger, technology-enabled healthcare systems across emerging economies."
Building on Previous Engagements
This agreement follows a visit by Dilma Rousseff to Narayana Health City in Bengaluru earlier this year, where she witnessed the institution's innovative approach to providing affordable, high-quality healthcare. Narayana Health's model prioritizes patient-focused care enhanced by cutting-edge digital technologies.
The collaboration is expected to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices in healthcare management, potentially serving as a blueprint for other institutions aiming to integrate technology into their operations effectively.
Narayana Health's commitment to innovation and its strategic partnership with NDB underscore a significant step towards addressing healthcare challenges in developing nations by utilizing technology to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
