Strategic Expansion and Acquisitions
In its fiscal year 2026 report, Manipal Health Enterprises outlined plans to deepen its market presence in Telangana, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. The company is also considering inorganic growth opportunities in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, and Eastern India, which includes West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, and Sikkim.
Key to its expansion is a new greenfield project in Juhu, Mumbai. The company has recently acquired land and infrastructure for Rs 495 crore, with Rs 130 crore contingent upon certain conditions. By 2030, Manipal aims to add over 2,400 beds, including 483 brownfield and 1,943 greenfield beds.

To support these services, Manipal is investing in cutting-edge medical technologies such as robotic surgical systems, linear accelerators, and PET-CT scanners. This focus aligns with the company's aim to remain a leader in quality healthcare delivery.
Financial Performance and Future Outlook
The company reported a 25.4% increase in revenue, reaching Rs 10,336 crore in the 2025-26 fiscal year, with an EBITDA of Rs 2,644 crore. This growth was bolstered by the integration of Sahyadri Hospitals in Maharashtra and Medica Synergie in Eastern India.
As of March 2026, Manipal's network includes 49 hospitals and 13,037 licensed beds across 14 states and Union Territories, serving over 76 lakh patients annually. Since 2020, the company has added over 5,500 beds, marking it as a leading consolidator in India's private hospital sector.
