Dr. Ashok Sharma expressed optimism about the platform's ability to bridge cancer-care disparities across the Global South, emphasizing the importance of evidence-based, interoperable solutions tailored to the needs of emerging economies.

The review highlights the significant cancer burden within BRICS countries, which together account for over 40% of the global population and report approximately 9 million new cancer cases annually. Placing iOncology.ai within India’s expanding digital health infrastructure, the review notes its alignment with initiatives such as population screening, cancer surveillance, tertiary care, and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
