Fortis Opens Specialized Respiratory Clinics in Delhi Amid Pollution Concerns

Fortis Hospitals has announced the opening of dedicated respiratory care clinics in Shalimar Bagh and Vasant Kunj, Delhi. These clinics are designed to cater to patients suffering from advanced and end-stage lung diseases, offering comprehensive care from evaluation to post-transplant support.

A recent study published in the journal of Natural Health highlights the impact of particulate matter, specifically PM2.5, which has emerged as a significant contributor to global cancer cases. The study indicates that approximately 17.9 percent of tracheal, bronchial, and lung cancer cases could potentially be prevented if exposure to PM2.5 was mitigated.
