Additionally, 16.01 lakh shares were transacted through a bulk deal on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Following the announcement of this significant stake sale, Thyrocare's share price experienced a rise, with shares climbing nearly 3% to Rs 621.95 on the NSE and over 2% to Rs 622 on the BSE.

Institutional and Global Investor Participation

The stake sale attracted a diverse group of institutional investors, insurance companies, and global entities. Notable participants included HSBC Mutual Fund, DSP Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund, and ITI Mutual Fund. Life insurance firms such as Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company and Tata AIA Life Insurance also took part. Global investors included Morgan Stanley, Citigroup Global Markets, HBM Healthcare Investments (Cayman), and the Kuwait Investment Authority, all participating through block deals on the NSE.

Details of other buyers involved in the bulk deals remain undisclosed on both the BSE and NSE at this time.

This latest stake sale follows Docon's previous transaction in October of the previous year, where it sold a 10% stake in Thyrocare for Rs 667 crore. The continuous offloading of shares by Docon indicates a strategic shift in its investment approach concerning Thyrocare Technologies.
