Aster DM Quality Care Ltd has announced a significant investment through its subsidiary, KIMS Health Care Management Ltd (KHML), aimed at expanding its hospital facilities in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The expansion project, approved by KHML's Board of Directors, involves an investment of Rs 134.4 crore to construct a new block and optimize existing facilities at KIMSHEALTH Hospital.

The proposed expansion will add 184 beds to the hospital’s current capacity of 795 beds, elevating the total to approximately 979 beds. This development is scheduled for completion by May 2028, according to a regulatory filing by the company.
