Aster DM Quality Care Ltd has announced a significant investment in its KIMS Health Care Management Ltd (KHML) subsidiary to expand the KIMSHEALTH Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The expansion project, approved by the KHML Board of Directors, involves an investment of approximately Rs 134.4 crore.

The development plan includes constructing a new block and optimizing existing facilities, with the aim of increasing the hospital's capacity. Currently, KIMSHEALTH Hospital operates with 795 beds, and the expansion will add 184 more, bringing the total to about 979 beds. The company has set a completion deadline for the project by May 2028.
