Aster DM Quality Care Ltd has announced a significant investment in the expansion of its healthcare facilities in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The company, through its subsidiary KIMS Health Care Management Ltd (KHML), plans to inject Rs 134.4 crore into the development of KIMSHEALTH Hospital.

The expansion includes the construction of a new block and the optimization of existing facilities at the hospital. This development will increase the hospital's capacity by 184 beds, raising the total to approximately 979 beds from the current 795. According to the company’s regulatory filing, the project is expected to be completed by May 2028.
The funding for this expansion will be sourced through a mix of debt and equity, with 70% coming from debt and the remaining 30% from equity. This strategic financial structure aims to efficiently manage the investment while bolstering the hospital's infrastructure.
