Aster DM Healthcare's subsidiary, KIMS Health Care Management Ltd (KHML), is set to invest Rs 134.4 crore to significantly expand its hospital facilities in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The decision was confirmed by the Board of Directors of KHML, as noted in a regulatory filing released late on Monday.

Expansion Plans for KIMSHEALTH Hospital

The planned expansion involves constructing a new block and optimizing existing facilities at the KIMSHEALTH Hospital. This project aims to increase the hospital's capacity by 184 beds, raising the total number of beds from 795 to approximately 979. The initiative is expected to be completed by May 2028.
