AIIMS Workshop Targets Cardiometabolic Disease Education

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi has initiated a workshop aimed at enhancing health education for cardiometabolic diseases. This event, organized under the Partnership for Education of Health Professionals (PEP) programme, brings together an array of experts and stakeholders.

Led by Professors Nikhil Tandon and Ambuj Roy, the workshop features a diverse group of participants, including Advisory Committee members, subject-matter experts, and NCD State Nodal Officers. Representatives from prominent institutions such as the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) are also in attendance. Faculty from various academic institutions have joined the discussions, which are set to reflect on the findings from the project's formative phase.
