Focus on Education and Implementation
The workshop's agenda centers on discussing both pre-service and in-service education. Participants aim to identify implementation priorities and address training needs while anticipating potential challenges. This approach is intended to strengthen the education of health professionals across India, ensuring they are better prepared to manage the increasing burden of cardiometabolic diseases.
Turning Evidence into Action
AIIMS's initiative is focused on transforming evidence and stakeholder experiences into actionable strategies. By co-designing approaches with input from various stakeholders, the workshop seeks to build capacity and enhance the education of health professionals. This effort is crucial for improving the preparedness and response to cardiometabolic health issues, which are becoming increasingly prevalent in India.
