The court noted that the mother was admitted to the Gynaecology Ward, while the baby was in the nursery. The high court, in its order dated Oct 10, observed that the act was not only inhuman and unethical but also a violation of the right to privacy and dignity guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India.
